The largest 13.5 cm square creates a substantial card-front panel, while the smaller dies provide a wide choice of focal panels, frames and embellishments. Each size reduces by approximately 1 cm, making it easy to create evenly spaced layers with a consistent border.

Description

This set of 13 torn edge square nesting metal cutting dies offers a versatile range of graduated sizes for card making, scrapbooking and other paper crafts. Each square has a softly irregular deckle-style outline, creating the appearance of handmade or gently torn paper without the evenly repeated curves of a scalloped edge.

Use individual dies to create decorative panels and sentiment backgrounds, or combine two neighbouring sizes to make frames, apertures and shaker windows. The approximately 1 cm reductions make it straightforward to build evenly spaced layers from contrasting cardstock, patterned paper, vellum and speciality craft materials.

Cardstock, backgrounds, layered examples and other decorative elements shown are not included.

This nesting set is supplied connected and is intended to be separated before first use.

For best results, first gently twist the individual dies away from each other to separate the main frame. Once separated, any remaining connector tabs can usually be detached by gently wriggling and twisting them using small pliers or nippers. Depending on the set, some tabs may require careful trimming with fine snips if they do not release easily.

Measurements are approximate and taken from the outer cutting edge. Finished cuts will be slightly smaller.
