Torn Edge Arch Nesting Metal Cutting Dies – 5pc

Create layered arch panels, frames and apertures with this set of five graduated nesting dies. Each shape features a softly irregular torn-paper edge, giving the finished cuts a decorative deckle-style appearance.

Key Features

• Five-piece arch nesting metal cutting die set
• Rounded arch shape with a straight lower edge
• Irregular torn edge with a soft deckle-style appearance
• Creates a decorative handmade-paper finish rather than a regular wave or scallop
• Graduated sizes for layering, matting, framing and aperture cutting
• Largest die measures approximately 13.5 x 10.3 cm (5.31 x 4.06 inches)
• Second die measures approximately 12.2 x 9.1 cm (4.80 x 3.58 inches)
• Third die measures approximately 11 x 7.7 cm (4.33 x 3.03 inches)
• Fourth die measures approximately 9.4 x 6.5 cm (3.70 x 2.56 inches)
• Smallest die measures approximately 8.5 x 5.2 cm (3.35 x 2.05 inches)
• Made from durable carbon steel
• Compatible with most manual and electronic die-cutting machines
• Suitable for paper, cardstock and speciality craft papers

Sizing Guidance

The largest arch nearly fills an A6 portrait card front, creating a substantial full-panel design with only a narrow margin around the outside.

The second and third sizes leave more surrounding space for borders, sentiments and embellishments. The two smaller dies work well as central focal panels, labels, photograph mats and decorative apertures.

Use individual dies to create solid arch panels or position two sizes together to cut coordinating frames and windows.

Ideal Card Sizes

• A6 portrait – full arch card fronts and layered panels
• 5x7 – graduated arch layers with generous surrounding space
• 6x6 – centred arch focal panels and rainbow designs
• A5 – larger toppers with room for sentiments and embellishments

Perfect For

• Layered arch and rainbow designs
• Torn-paper and distressed-style projects
• Decorative card-front panels
• Frames and apertures
• Shaker card windows
• Doorway and window-style scenes
• Sentiment and photograph panels
• Birthday and celebration cards
• Scrapbook layouts
• General paper crafting

Description

This torn edge arch nesting die set contains five graduated shapes for creating coordinated panels, frames and apertures. The rounded upper section and straight base form a versatile arch shape, while the softly uneven deckle-style outline adds a handmade torn-paper effect to every cut.

Layer the different sizes in contrasting colours to create rainbow-inspired designs or use coordinating cardstock for elegant tonal panels. Two dies can also be used together to produce decorative frames, windows and shaker card openings.

The generous range of sizes makes the set suitable for substantial A6 card fronts as well as smaller central toppers and sentiment panels. Made from durable carbon steel, the dies provide clean, reusable cuts in paper, cardstock and similar papercraft materials.

Please Note

The listing is for the five metal cutting dies only. Photographs may show example cuts to demonstrate the finished design.

This nesting set is supplied connected and is intended to be separated before first use.

For best results, first gently twist the individual dies away from each other to separate the main frame. Once separated, any remaining connector tabs can usually be detached by gently wriggling and twisting them using small pliers or nippers. Depending on the set, some tabs may require careful trimming with fine snips if they do not release easily.

Measurements are approximate and taken from the outer cutting edge. Finished cuts will be slightly smaller.
