Sizing Guidance

This nesting set is especially practical for UK A6 card makers, as many rectangle nesting dies on the market are designed more around US card sizing.

The third largest die measures approximately 14.7 cm x 10.7 cm and may just fit onto an A6 card once cut, as finished cuts are slightly smaller than the outer die measurements.

For layering on A6 cards, the next size down is often the most useful, measuring approximately 13.7 cm x 9.7 cm. This creates a neat layered panel with a visible border around the edge.

The graduated sizing creates approximately 5 mm borders between layers when used progressively, making the set ideal for stacked mats, frames and dimensional card designs.

Smaller dies within the set also work well for sentiments, tags, shaker panels and scrapbook embellishments.

Ideal Card Sizes

• A6 – excellent for layered mats and focal panels
• 5x7 – ideal for larger layered backgrounds
• 6x6 – perfect for decorative frames and apertures
• Slimline and DL cards – useful for sentiment panels and layering
• Scrapbook layouts and journals – ideal for photo mats and decorative frames

Perfect For

• Matting and layering card fronts
• A6 card making projects
• Decorative frames and apertures
• Shaker cards and sentiment panels
• Scrapbooking and memory albums
• Layered paper craft designs
• Handmade invitations and greetings cards

Description

Create elegant layered card designs with this large rectangle nesting die set featuring decorative scalloped frilled edges. With 12 graduated rectangle dies included, this versatile set is perfect for creating frames, layered mats, apertures, shaker cards and decorative backgrounds.

The sizing works especially well for UK A6 card makers, offering practical layering sizes that are often difficult to find in larger nesting sets designed primarily for US card formats.

The gradual size reductions create balanced borders between layers, making it easy to build professional-looking dimensional card fronts and scrapbook layouts.

Made from durable carbon steel, these dies produce crisp clean cuts and are compatible with most manual and electronic die-cutting machines.

Please Note

• Listing is for the metal cutting dies only — no pre-cut shapes are included
• Photos may show example cuts to demonstrate the designs created by the dies
• Measurements are approximate and taken from the outer cutting edge
• Finished cuts will be slightly smaller than the die itself
• Dies are supplied connected by small metal tabs and are intended to be separated before use. In most cases, gently wriggling and twisting the connector tabs using small pliers or nippers will detach them safely. Some sets may require careful trimming with fine snips.
