Sizing Guidance

The largest 13.2 × 13.2 cm die creates a substantial square panel suitable for larger cards, scrapbook layouts and decorative backgrounds. Each following die reduces by approximately 1 cm, providing consistent borders when several contrasting layers are combined.

The second-largest die measures approximately 12.2 × 12.2 cm, while the smaller squares are useful for sentiments, compact focal panels, gift tags and embellishments.

Because the stitching is positioned on both sides of the cutting line, each die can decorate both the square it cuts out and the aperture left behind.

Description

Create crisp geometric layers with this set of 12 double stitched square nesting metal cutting dies. Decorative dashed detailing follows both sides of each cutting line, leaving a stitched finish on the square panel and around the aperture in the remaining cardstock.

The dies decrease in regular increments of approximately 1 cm, making it easy to build evenly spaced mats, contrasting layers and multi-coloured designs. Use individual squares for sentiments and focal panels, or combine two sizes to create frames, borders and shaker windows.

Made from durable carbon steel, the dies are reusable and compatible with most manual and electronic die-cutting machines.

Measurements are approximate and taken from the outer cutting edge. Finished cuts will be slightly smaller.

This nesting set is supplied connected and is intended to be separated before first use. First gently twist the individual dies away from each other to separate the main frame. Remaining connector tabs can usually be removed by carefully wriggling and twisting them with small pliers or nippers. Some tabs may require trimming with fine craft snips.
